Are You Afraid to Enjoy Summertime?

Summertime brings opportunities for fun – whether it's trips to visit friends and family, or adventures in the great outdoors.

Most look forward to this time when the kids are out of school and the family can schedule a few days off to simply enjoy.

But those who are living in fear of life don't enjoy it much.

A trip means the possibility of being involved in an auto accident – or even food poisoning from a strange
restaurant. Outdoor adventures like hiking, boating, and skiing bring a fear of injury that's far stronger than the anticipation of fun.

Those with this fear are suffering from a negative Mimulus state, and it's likely that those who love them are greatly affected.

Mimulus Moms and Dads don't just fear for themselves - they tend to project their fears onto their children as well. And no child needs that.

A child anticipating a week at camp where he or she will experience a first pony ride doesn't want to hear "But what if you fall off? What if the pony runs away? What if you get brushed off on a tree branch?" If he's going to learn to paddle a canoe he doesn't need to hear "But you might drown!" If he plans to learn archery, Mom or Dad's anxiety might make him believe one of the other campers will shoot him!

There IS help! If you suffer from what I'll call "Fear of life," begin treatment with Dr. Bach's Mimulus flower essence.

Mimulus will help you re-balance your energies so that you can trust your inner self again. You'll be able to tackle your fears from a rational standpoint, rather than giving in to a vague "feeling" that something will go wrong. It will also help you understand that the more you dwell upon your fears, the greater the likelihood that what you dread will come to pass. That's the Law of Attraction, and it's always working.

Can Dr. Bach's Formulas Help Your Small Business Succeed?

In today's economy, creating your own business is a smart move – as long as you can and will do the work to promote that business and make it grow.

Obviously, the Internet allows small business people to reach out in ways we didn't have just a few years ago. The problem is, everyone else is there too, so entrepreneurs need to do something to make their Internet presence known.

One of those ways is to give talks to groups who might be interested in the product or service you have to offer.

Think about groups who could benefit from knowing some of what you know – whether it's how to write a good fundraising letter, how to remove a spot on your carpet, or how to choose the best real estate agent.

By offering free advice you'll brand yourself as the expert in your field – just like those who "Wrote the book" on a subject.

The second benefit to giving talks is that you'll set yourself apart from your competitors. Most of them wouldn't dream of it because they're afraid of public speaking.

If you harbor a similar fear, don't worry. There IS a solution, and it comes in a little bottle of flower essences labeled "Feel5ive." This is the blend that calms the nerves and lets you get through stressful situations without falling apart.

If you're even afraid to contact someone to offer your talk, start using it right away. Take 4 drops morning, afternoon, and evening. Before long you'll be able to calmly pick up the phone and start promoting yourself.

On the day of your talk take Feel5ive as usual, but add 4 drops just prior to going "on stage."

Who can you speak to?

Service groups and the Chamber of Commerce are always looking for interesting speakers, and once you get started you'll come up with more and more ideas for places where you can speak. Even better, once you get started, it will get easier with each presentation.

You can also speak at your school's Career Days, being sure to give the students interesting hand-out materials that just might make it home to their parents.

Don't Let Fear of Disappointment Limit Your Success in 2012

Here we are, approaching a new year. For many of us it symbols a time to "start over" and make things better in some way.

We make resolutions to quit smoking or quit procrastinating or to start exercising every day. Of course, few of those resolutions stick through the month of January.

Here's a better resolution for 2012: Resolve to conquer the fear of disappointment.

Psychologists and talk show hosts like to talk about Fear of Failure and Fear of Success, but I've never heard them talk about the other fear that prevents people from reaching for the stars. That one is Fear of Disappointment.

It's tied to hope – or rather, having the courage to hope.

Some who have tried and failed in the past are so afraid of being knocked down again that they're afraid to stand up. They're afraid to hope or to make any effort at all, because it's "safer" to just stay down.

Of course, that means they have unhappy, unfulfilling lives – but at least they're not disappointed. They get exactly what they expect every day.

According to the Law of Attraction, we get what we think about most. Those folks think about failure, so of course they get more of it. The only pleasure they get is in saying "I told you so" to anyone and everyone who has dared to hope for a better outcome and haven't yet found it.

The first step in climbing out of that ever-deepening rut of failure is to have hope – and the courage to try even if failure is a possibility.

If you suffer from this, you might think you're alone. but you're not. In fact, so many do suffer from lack of hope that Feel Bach! created a special blend, just to help you get your hope back. It's called Get Hope Back.
