Is Self-doubt Sabotaging Romance in Your Life?

Valentine's Day is almost upon us, and if you don't have a sweetheart to share it with, you may feel like the reason is that you're just "not good enough."

Of course, that's nonsense. We're all "good enough" to have someone with whom to share love.

But if your self-doubts and feelings of inferiority won't allow you to reach out - you're probably going to see Valentine's Day pass with no flowers, no candy, and no romantic cards.

Perhaps you had a failed romance - and decided that there's no sense in trying again. If so, you're in a negative Gentian state. You've lost confidence and faith in yourself. The Bach Flower Essence Gentian will help you climb out of that hole and begin enjoying life again.

Perhaps you just generally feel inferior - and you're so sure that you'll face rejection that you don't even try to find romance. If that's the case, look to the Bach Flower Essence Larch.

Life is for living, loving, and enjoying. So don't limit yourself. Get help from Bach Flower Essences instead.

Worried about holiday entertaining?

As the Holidays approach, anxiety can mount.

A season which is supposed to be filled with love and acceptance is sometimes filled with apprehension, especially for those who have unresolved conflicts with family members.

It could be the inability to say no to hosting the big family dinner, or the fear and dread of not being able to measure up after saying yes.

If an inability to say no is making you dread the holidays, turn to the Bach Flower Essence Centaury.

If you are perfectly capable of producing a fantastic feast, but your confidence lags when thinking of critical relatives, begin now to use Larch and Mimulus.

Get yourself in tune with your higher self now - and enjoy the holidays this year.

If you aren't quite sure which of the Bach Flower essences you need, go to Feel Bach! and take the questionnaire.

The Holidays – Time for the Larch Personality to Suffer

Larch personalities whose energy is out of balance are in for a tough time during the holidays – especially when they’re forced into the host or hostess position.

When in balance, the Larch personality is realistic and able to assess situations objectively. He or she perseveres, even in the face of setbacks. But when Larch energy becomes unbalanced, feelings of inferiority take over.

The out-of-balance Larch personality knows absolutely that he or she “can’t do it,” or will fail upon an attempt to do it. As a consequence, the words “I can’t” come up again and again, as do excuses not to try. Severe sufferers will even become ill to avoid facing situations they think they can’t handle.

Thus, entertaining guests during the holidays – even if those guests are family – will be a painful experience.

If you feel that you’re in this state, first stop and think if it is the pressure of the holidays that brings it on, or if you carry this feeling of inferiority throughout the year.

If the problem is chronic, begin treatment with the Larch Bach Flower Essence and continue until you come back into alignment. If it is seasonal, begin treatment a few weeks before the next stressful holiday.

With all the experiences life offers us, it’s a shame to miss out and feel that you “can’t” do what you’d like to do. So take charge – resolve to get your energies back into alignment with Bach Flower Essences in 2012.

Use Bach Flowers to relieve Day-to-day Stresses

You don't need to be suffering from a chronic imbalance to benefit from Bach Flower Essences.

As you know if you use Feel5ive to relieve high stress situations, using Bach Remedies for short-term situations can make your days more pleasant. Not only that, it can help prevent you from falling into a chronic state that you don't desire.

For instance, if you yell at your child and feel guilt, that feeling can build until you feel like a horrible parent. Using Pine to relieve the guilt and Impatiens to relieve the impatience that caused the yelling can work effectively to prevent a chronic state from occurring.

At the same time, you can use Bach Flower Remedies ahead of time when you know you're going into a situation where you can predict your emotional state. For instance, taking a few drops of Larch before going to a job interview can help you maintain the confidence that will get you the job.

Study the Flower Essences at www.bachflower.org and think about the situations that temporarily derail your life. Then stock up on the ones you need and take them any time you begin to fall into that negative state.

Staying in emotional balance will mean a happier life for you and all who love you.

What Bach Flower Users Say...

While the descriptions on the FeelBach! site and in the free brochure give you an accurate outline of which flower essence is needed for specific emotional disturbances, sometimes it's helpful to hear exactly how they affect individual users.

With that in mind, I've excerpted a message found on a curezone.com forum:

"Larch helped me with confidence in speaking, (sharing my ideas), feeling at peace in crowds, and has given me a sense of courage to try new things which I used to feel afraid to try from a "fear of failure". Larch has also helped me not to take other peoples comments personally & recognize that if a person says something unkind that it is THEIR PROBLEM not mine."

Considering that so many problems in life begin with our own insecurities - those insecurities that allow us to emotionally crumble over another's unkind comment - it's good to know that something as simple as a few drops of Bach Flower Essences can allow us to go forward without being crippled by other people's opinions.

The writer's further observation was that BACH remedies cure the issues at the Root. That is, of course, the reason why Bach Flower Essences can bring much greater relief than pharmaceuticals, which only strive to "cure" the symptoms.

We'd love to hear your experiences, too. So please do feel free to leave a comment...
