Have I ever mentioned my fear of dentists? It's ingrained
since childhood, when my Mother was determined to take good care of my teeth. In
the past 20 years I've only gone to the dentist when I absolutely couldn't
avoid it – as when something really hurt.
This year I finally couldn't avoid extensive dental work.
Due to an accident a few years ago, a couple of teeth had broken and two more
were dangerously loose. The only options were to live as a "toothless old
lady" or get an upper denture.
And was I scared!!
I know all those extractions probably weren't going to kill
me. Maybe. I do have allergies, so…? I doubt that Feel5ive saved my life, but
it did save my looks, because I believe that without it I wouldn't have worked
up the courage to keep that appointment. I started taking a few drops several
times a day about 3 days ahead of time. And… much to my joy, I wasn't quaking
in fear when I arrived at the dentist's office.
But that was just the first part. Getting used to that
monster in my mouth was another story. I couldn't believe how hard it was just
to swallow, let alone eat food. Taking it off to clean it hurt, and putting it
back hurt even worse.
Feel5ive gave me the courage to face that pain.
And then there was the tiredness. It's hard to go to sleep
when something hurts, as my mouth did even without the denture. All Night's
Sleep let me relax and get some much-needed rest.
My message to you is this: If there's something you're
really, really afraid of, but it's important that you do it - take Feel5ive. It
will calm you down and give you the courage to do what you need to do.
