Break those negative thought loops with White Chestnut

Somewhere there may reside a person who has never fallen into a loop of negative thinking about something they said or did.  But if there is, I haven’t met them yet.

Sometimes it starts with an attack from outside. You receive a negative job review or a good friend strongly criticizes you. Perhaps it was a parent, or a teacher, or a coach who gave you a dressing down. Children are especially vulnerable to such attacks.

Sometimes it starts in your own mind. You had a meeting or a conversation and go home thinking "I should have said…" or "Oh why did I say…?" Then you spend the next several hours replaying the whole scene over in your mind until you're ready to scream.

Sound familiar? That's a negative White Chestnut state – and everyone is susceptible to them.
You can’t let it go, and it even interferes with sleep. Untreated, it can lead to chronic frontal headaches.

Fortunately, for most of us the state does fade away after a day or two. But for some it becomes chronic. At this point, the sufferer wants nothing more than to escape from his or her own thoughts.

Children are always in danger of falling into the negative White Chestnut state, because they are often not allowed to speak up in their own defense. They’d love to say “You were wrong,” to a parent or authority figure, but they fear the consequences.

Parents whose children begin to withdraw and avoid social interaction are well advised to find out if the child has suffered from a verbal attack that is causing a “negative thought loop.”

Treatment with the Dr. Bach's Flower Essence White Chestnut allows you to settle down and release the impulse to replay negative conversations. It lets the mind discriminate between thoughts that are helpful and those that are not. In essence, it allows you to once again connect with and accept guidance from your Higher Self.

Say "No Thanks" to Guilt Trips

Don't Accept That Guilt Trip!

If you're a woman, you probably know that we seem to be born with a guilt complex.

It seems like we're constantly feeling guilty over something – because we take responsibility for things other
Pine can help you say "NO" to guilt.
people do, and because we let ourselves make a bigger deal out of something than it really is.

But we don't just do this to ourselves. Some people simply strive to make you feel guilty, so that no matter what you do, it’s not enough.

Of course, their barbs aren't usually just directed at you. They do it to everyone around them. And not just women are the object of their attention. Men go on guilt trips too.

You know some of them. They’re the moms who insist that you don’t love them unless you, your spouse, and the kids spend every holiday with them. Never mind that your spouse also has a mom.

They’re the siblings who guilt you into spending every week-end babysitting their kids, even though you haven’t had a get-away yourself in months
.
The way to say "No thanks" to their guilt trips is to use Dr. Bach's remedy Pine.
But what about those people who are trying to make you feel guilty?

They're suffering too -from a negative Chicory state.

The truth is, they feel unloved and unwanted, and they’re trying to feel better by forcing you to give them attention.

You can’t force anyone else to get help, but if you find yourself slipping into this kind of state, treat the condition with the Dr Bach's Chicory flower essence.

Do You Know Someone Too Stubborn to Accept Help From Dr. Bach?

Lately I've been having to resist the temptation to slip into my "evangelist" role and start talking about Dr. Bach's Flower Remedies. I resist, because in this case I know I could talk all day and it wouldn't make a difference.

But it does make me sad to know that people are suffering for no reason than their own stubborn refusal to trust anything but pharmaceuticals.

My neighbor talks a lot about the trouble he has sleeping past 2 a.m. – and about how he hates and fears the night. I know that Sweet Dreams 3 would release him from this self-imposed prison he's been in for most of his 85 years.

But… a couple of years ago I gave him a bottle and he refused to even try it. There isn't any point in bringing it up again.

So many people are "stuck" in thinking that doctors and pharmaceuticals are the only
answer to their problems... I feel sorry for them.

Meanwhile – last week I started waking up every couple of hours each night. Since I have the complete set of 38 essences, I mixed up a remedy and put that problem behind me.

Thanks Dr. Bach, for making it so easy to solve some of life's annoying problems.

Are you a Vervain Personality? Are you a Vervain Personality? If so, you're probably a forceful and inspiring leader. You move people to listen to your views – and to act upon them. You're fearless in the face of opposition – sometimes even risking death in order to promote your cause. You don't care if people call you a fanatic or a kook. Today we have people like Glen Beck who aren't afraid to speak out. Back in Revolutionary days we had Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and others who led the way to our independence. Vervain personalities are completely dedicated to their cause. And this is well and good as long as they remain in a positive Vervain state. But in the negative state, this dedication can be self-destructive. They can push themselves so hard that they go without sleep and without proper nutrition - so that their bodies suffer from their dedication to the cause. In addition, in the negative state the Vervain personality cannot begin to consider a different point of view, and that also is destructive. Once restored to the positive state, the Vervain person can again see both sides of an issue. His or her passion can be tempered by reason. And, in the positive state he is much more effective at inspiring others and gaining support for his mission. If you're dedicated to a cause and feel yourself ignoring your own health in pursuit of righting a wrong or correcting an injustice, you too may be a Vervain personality, and you may be in the negative state. If so, visit FeelBach! and let Dr. Bach's Flower Essences put you back in balance.
