Not long ago a friend told me that he was annoyed by a nasty cold sore (fever blister) on his lip. It hurt and it was unsightly.
I said "There has to be a reason for it," and reached for my copy of Heal Your Body by Louise Hay. There I found that the source of cold sores is "Festering angry words and fear of expressing them."
Hmmm... I knew what he was dealing with and it made perfect sense. He had been angry and annoyed with someone he cares for and wouldn't express that annoyance for fear of hurting the relationship.
Next we went to FeelBach! for an overview of the 38 different Bach Flower Essences. We decided that Holly, Cherry Plum, Impatins, and Wild Rose were probably the correct choices. But, just to be sure, we went to the Bach Flower Reference Guide to read more about each of them.
Once our research was finished, we created a blend of those four Bach Flower Remedies and he began using it. By the next morning his cold sore was gone.
Having the ability to treat situations as soon as they arise is one reason to keep a set of all 38 essences on hand.

Don't let your in-box make you sick!
Lately, the political, social, and economic news hitting our email in-boxes has gotten louder and more alarming. Even stories that are really "non-stories" have headlines that scream "trouble, trouble, trouble." The media thrives on bad news and puts the worst possible spin on everything it reports.
Mark Twain once said "Advertisements contain the only truths to be relied on in a newspaper." I'm not so sure about all those advertisements, but I do believe the man made a valid point. We must not believe (and worry about) everything we read or hear.
If you read and worry about even half of those stories, you could spend your entire day in a knot of worry.
And what possible good will it do? If the situation is bad, your worry won't change it. All it will do is suck the joy out of your life and possibly make you ill.
The only way to remain happy and enjoy your life as the current mess is sorted out is to make a conscious effort.
First, unless there's some action you can take to correct a problem, stop giving the problems your attention. And stop forwarding those troubling stories on to your friends. Instead, hit the delete button. Send your friends the stories that are uplifting and heartwarming. Smile while you do it – and make them feel better, too.
Next, if you're feeling worried and anxious, get a bottle of Feel5ive and take a few drops 3 or 4 times a day.
And finally, make the effort to turn your thoughts to something pleasant. Think of the smile on the face of someone you love. Turn on some "feel good" music. Go outside and spend a little time with nature.
Don't waste your life on worry!

Do You Suffer From Sleeplessness?
Missing out on sleep is a sure way to make everything worse - from your mental attitude to your work performance to your overall health.
Fortunately, FeelBach! has formulated 4 different blends to alleviate the problem.
Why 4 different blends?
Because your reason for missing sleep may be different from your neighbor's.
Here are the 4 different causes of sleeplessness, and how to use Bach Flower Remedies to solve each of them:
You toss and turn and can't fall asleep. You simply can't relax and drift off. Use Sweet Dreams #1. Take 4 drops an hour before going to bed.
Your mind won't shut down and let you stay asleep. You keep waking up, thinking over the day or what you need to do tomorrow. Use Sweet Dreams #2. Take 4 drops every time you awake; not more than 3 x times a night.
You have nightmares that awaken you throughout the night. Use Sweet Dreams #3. Take 4 drops every time you awake; not more than 3 x times a night.
You awaken far too early each morning and can't go back to sleep. You may even feel like staying in bed is a waste of time - you need to get up and be busy. Use Sweet Dreams #4. Take 4 drops x 4 times a day.
